Charity Home Foundation is a registered non-profit organization caring for orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children in Rivers State, Nigeria. Since 2011, we've provided shelter, education, nutrition and emotional support to children who would otherwise have no one.
We're not an institution that warehouses children — we're a family. Every home is run by trained house-parents, every child stays in school, and every case is followed through to independence.
To provide safe shelter, quality education and consistent care to orphaned and vulnerable children until they can stand on their own.
A generation of formerly vulnerable children who grow up secure, educated, and equipped to give back to their communities.
Dignity, transparency, family, and the belief that every child deserves to be known and loved by name.
Charity Home Foundation began in a small rented house in Port Harcourt with six children and one house-mother.
Community donations funded our first purpose-built children's home, housing 40 children.
We introduced one-to-one child sponsorship, connecting individual donors with a specific child's education.
A third home opened to serve teenage boys transitioning toward independent living and vocational training.
Today we run three homes, a scholarship fund, and a sponsorship network spanning 12 countries.
